The information and photos on his site has been collected through some years, and the work is not only the result of my efforts but has been made possible with the kind assistance of many members of the family. Thanks a lot!

I especially want to thank Svend Madsen, whose sister was married to a Drustrup. He has done all the genealogical research in archives and church records about the older generations. A great job!

I would like to express my hope, that this site will tell a unique and also general story about the life of a family through generations and common history in order to increase the understanding of different cultures.

I also hope, that the site will help making the bonds and connections between the members of the different familylines tighter - within each country and across The Atlantic.
